December!

Wow time sure goes by fast with 2 kids running around, well one running and one rolling.  Can't believe that little hudles is almost 7 months old.  He is sitting like a pro, rocking on all fours, getting ready to crawl and smiling all the time.  Here are a few new pics:

Just this past week my little guy finally started really playing with toys, grabbing, holding, etc..  Brady saw all of this and ran over and said "My toys" uhhh Brady since when do you play with rattles???
Hudson "hudles" is still doing so great!  Always smiling, sleeps til 8 am and we couldnt ask for a better baby!

We love MOPS

We find so much joy at mops.  We meet every other Tuesday with about 60 other moms and when we are not meeting we get to go to fun play dates.  Here are pics from our splash pad date at Espree park...

4 months old!

How is it that my baby is 4 months old already!  He is such a good boy, we went to his 4 mo appt. and he is 75% for weight and head, 16 pounds and OFF the charts for height.  My tall boy.

Family trip

As my maternity leave comes to an end :( we decided to take one last trip to California with the family before I go back to work on August 8th.  We had the best time!  It was Brady's second trip to Disneyland and this time he was able to really enjoy it!  He was in awe the entire time!  We also got the visit the beach and take a sunset boat ride to see the sealions.

The past month (in one post) ;)

 The Gillette Family has had a pretty busy month... so busy I havn't posted much.  The boys are napping and I just had some coffee so I've got a few extra minutes ;)
So here is a recap.  We had a baby... Hudson Michael born 5/15/12...

 Big 9 pound boy!!!  I went in to be induced that Tuesday morning around 10 am and the big guy was born around 9 pm.  I got to feel a lot of natural labor since the medicine didnt start to work until it was time to push...

 Brady LOVES his new brother.  He wants to help all of the time, most of the time he wants to help "too much"

 The new common phrase around the Gillette house is "Hold Baby, Hold baby"... Brady loves to hold baby

 Hudson is an amazing baby, we couldnt ask for a better guy.  He sleeps and eats, and thats about it.  He turned one month today and slept through the night yay Hudson!!!  We put him to bed around 10pm and the sun was coming up when he started moving around!!!  We love those swaddles with the Velcro, they seem to do the trick.  I am sure the formula helps too.  We have had nursing issues just like with brady, he had a tongue tie too which we got fixed at the dr., but never got my milk supply to where it needs to be so he is taking about 70% formula.. I have to admit that I am not as dedicated to nursing as I should be, we like to leave the house and keep busy, when I know I probably should be home trying to get my milk supply up... but it's working for us :)

 Hudson got to go to his first God Feet event!  We are in the process of getting the first God Feet shoe which is very exciting!  Should have our order in September.

 Brady finished swim lessons.... he is not the best at paying attention....

 Hudson is wearing size 6 month shoes.... poor guy never fit into those newborn socks...
